There’s no need for an essay. “This was measured in mice, but the page says people” is useful. So is spotting a weight measurement described as body fat. One mismatch gives us a place to look.

private health details elsewhere
Please leave out medical records, prescription details and identity documents. They aren’t needed to check a sentence against a source. A correction can usually be explained without telling us anything about your health.
For the same reason, a question about whether a medicine suits you belongs with a qualified healthcare professional. An editorial email isn’t a consultation. We cannot provide a clinical reply, recommend a dose or arrange access to medicines.

to the finding you disagree with
You can challenge our interpretation too. Tell us which result deserves more weight and where it appears in the paper. We can check whether we went too far or missed a limit.
A wrong population or figure needs correcting. A disagreement about meaning needs the finding and your reasoning beside it. Neither requires a long message.
One sentence is enough to work on.
A precise challenge is more useful than a general vote for or against a compound. Point to the step where our explanation stops following the evidence. That helps even when the overall conclusion stays the same.
